Yannick and Lisa got married on a cold, autumnal day in October in Apeldoorn. It was raining the entire day, and not just a little bit. However, this wedding is proof that rain on your wedding day is not the end of the world. If anything, it forced us to get more creative and resulted in moody, intimate photos. The couple was so warm and their love for each other shone through in every aspect of the day. We started out in a little tunnel on a road surrounded by forest, and later ventured into the forest. When the couple’s car didn’t want to start (oops), they had to hop into our car and we drove off to the venue, where we spent the rest of the day surrounded by family and friends, and loads of cozy hot drinks and candles. After the official ceremony, we drove to a beautiful nearby church for the church ceremony. The day ended with a delicious dinner at a long table under a glass roof, and the couple performed their first dance before the dance party started. It was certainly a day to remember.
