Bernhard and Sanri decided to do their wedding their way. The weekend celebration held at Die Boer en die Belg in Mookgopong, South Africa was a true family affair. The ceremony and reception were full of personal touches: popcorn as confetti, burgers for dinner, and ice cream as dessert. Family members pitched in as musicians, the photographer, and pastor. At the reception, Sanri was serenaded by Bernhard on the piano with a song he wrote for her. It was a wonderful celebration together with all their loved ones as witnesses of their commitment to and love for each other.
